It’s pretty cool when I get to photograph people that I know. We are already comfortable with each other, and have a good sense of our personalities. I’ve been fortunate to be asked twice to photograph this family. Even more fortunate that they are my neighbors. See? I told you, cool huh?

This momma decided last minute to have maternity photos taken while they are still just a family of 3. I’m so happy that she did because she looks gorgeous! We were all having so much fun, that we were able to capture the setting sun.

The image collection has been announced for VOICE 2015. Over 18,000 entries, 220 have been compiled in this collection. I am so proud and honored to have one of my images selected in the newness category. Even better that it is an image of my nephew!
