I was fortunate to teach at Click Away 2018 on Amelia Island in Florida! Click Away is a photography retreat and conference to learn, connect with others and have fun! This years location did not disappoint. I’ve always wanted to shoot on the beach with those sherbet colored skies and white sand. This year I […]
Dear Ryan and Christopher, Oh the two of you definitely keep me busy! I’m really loving the stage of life that we are in right now. You both have such a wonderful sense of humor, and will literally have me laughing out loud because you are smart and witty — not because I had […]
Dear Christopher, You are such an imaginative little guy. There are made up towns and train stops all over the house. You run races up and down the hall between your motorcycle and corvette race car. Usually the corvette wins, but you must have felt badly for the motorcycle because today during lap 11 it […]

I am so excited to post my first Letters to Our Sons! I’ve joined an amazingly talented group of ladies. A blog circle of photographers, who are all wonderful mommies to boys! Dear Christopher, Fall is in the air and you love to collect sticks and leaves. You ask me everyday if you can please […]
Junes creativity exercise was to shoot all the little moments that make up our days. The good, the bad, the ugly. I decided to take the challenge and shoot the boys first official day of summer – no school! You can see more daily life images on Clickin Moms blog. I was thrilled to have […]
Found light & a cute subject
I blocked off a Sunday and took my own boys out for photos! What they say is true, anyone besides your own mother behind the camera can capture your children – sometimes. I love how these turned out, and the boys loved their candy cane reward!
Week 4 of elements of design: black & white. I’m so sad that this class is over, thank you Sarah Wilkerson and all the amazingly talented women over at Clickin’ Moms!
I’m currently in week 3 of Elements of Design! A course offered by Clickin Moms and taught by Sarah Wilkerson. To say this course is a creative, educational, boost – is an understatement.
